i love deviantart, and I don't mind the ad's. But when theres an explosion of sound from an ad I must admit, it really annoys me. It's like I can't listen to music on my computer because of the risk of having a stupid ad scaring the bejesus out of me.

The amount of talent on this site is overwhelming. I used to be upset that what I produce isn't good, and that no one really liked it. But I'm kinda getting over it. I just want to make art for self-satisfaction. I noticed one problem I have is having a finished piece. So I'm gonna start finishing anything I start. I really want to become good at painting, I want to like my paintings at least. I need to put a lot more time into it, is all. Which I've been doing. And since i've started painting again i've noticed my headaches aren't as bad either. My biggest problem is finding the ideas of what to draw/paint. blarrrgh. I've closed my eyes to

If I become more disciplined I think I'll be decent one day. My problem is that I don't do enough work to get better. So it's time to get my ass in gear. I don't want to just be an art appreciator, I want to be considered an artist one day as well.
